DSC service doesn't just end with delivery.
We provide continued warranty support through DSC's Service Provider
Network™, which is comprised of our field engineers and a network of DSC
subcontractors. For hardware items, we provide warranty support in
conjunction with our OEM suppliers. We also offer on-site remedial and
preventive maintenance and repair services.
Technical Services Center
Sustaining this quality of maintenance support for our clients
requires a dedicated corporate infrastructure - warehousing,
parts, and logistics. To expedite repairs and minimize disruption
for our clients, DSC maintains an inventory of commonly used
computer equipment and components. DSC uses a computerized
logistics system to maintain reasonable inventory levels for
effectively servicing our clients. Testing all parts, randomly
or on a selective basis, as we receive them from vendors is
an integral element of our internal quality control process.
We ensure that product vendors from whom we order meet the
same or better quality control standards as those we use ourselves.
No matter where you are, DSC support is there too.
We coordinate and control all maintenance activities through
DSC's centralized desktop support facility. A single, toll-free
phone number ensures instant contact with a DSC service representative,
who, in turn, owns the problem until the client verifies resolution
and satisfaction. To the client, all DSC support is local,
seamless, responsive, and effective. We are able to provide
24/7 maintenance through a combination of strong in-house
technical skills, business alliances with major service companies,
and DSC's unique Service Provider Network™.
SupportMagic
To provide our clients with the most efficient and effective support, DSC
uses SupportMagic, a COTS problem management and call tracking
application. SupportMagic logs, prioritizes, and tracks all service calls.
In addition, SupportMagic allows DSC desktop support staff to
automatically track equipment warranties, configurations, parts status,
inventory, and versions for each client's computer systems.
