Junior Systems Analyst
Location: Rockville, MD
  General Description: Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software and database applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Prepare and manage technical documentation.
  •  Assist in the assessment of user needs for reporting. Design and develop new reports.
  •  Train users on the report process.
  •  Assist in the development of business processes, implementation and testing of PRISM Web Large Contracts Module.
  •  Design and develop automated reports from the existing manual reports.
  •  Design PRISM Web Large Contract Procedures Manual.
  •  Assist with the maintenance/enhancement/development of reports, databases, and interfaces.
  •  Perform PRISM System Administrator functions.
  •  Perform daily system management.
  •  Assist with database management.
  •  Provide user assistance.
  •  Submit weekly technical progress reports.
  •  Act as liaison between end user and the PRISM developer/vendor to report and track all problems
  •  Assist in planning and testing of the Continuity of Operations (COOP) plan, Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E), Certification and Accreditation (C&A), Security Planning, and back up and recovery strategies.

  • Skills/Qualifications:
  •   Skilled in developing database programs that can be accessed through the Internet/Intranet environment.
  •  Skilled in Oracle 8i/9i; SQL; PL/SQL; PRISM; HTML, JavaScript; MS Office; Oracle 9iAS (Portal; Reports, Discoverer); and Business Process Design including process flow and designing user manuals.
  •  Strong verbal and written skills. · Knowledge of database design and development processes, concepts, methodologies, Software Development Lifecycle process, etc.
  •  Ability to work independently, to establish priorities, and complete objectives with minimal supervision.
  •  Procurement background desired.
  •  Bachelor's degree in computer-related field or equivalent related experience.
  •  Two years of related experience.

      Human Resources Generalist
    Location: Chantilly, VA
     

    General Description: Digital Support Corporation is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to assist with processes and procedures for supporting Government Contracting and Public Contracting personnel in the IT industry.

    Candidate would be responsible for supporting 250+ employees all across the country in areas such as Employee Relations, Benefits, Recruiting, Government Reporting, etc. Experience on full life-cycle Project Management and working in the Government contracting industry is a plus. Must have excellent customer service skills.

    Duties also to include:

  •  Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.
  •  Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; and coaching and counseling managers and employees.
  •  Completes special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions.
  •  Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  •  Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  •  Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  •  Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  •  Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
